Remote Access to NCAR Library Collections

Interlibrary Loan is available to request electronic books and articles.

Most Library materials (journal articles, e-books, etc.) are available online. Find materials using the search box on the NCAR Library home page, or use an external service such as Google Scholar or Web of Science to help you find articles.

We highly recommend that you install and use the NCAR Library Proxy Bookmarklet tool to provide authenticated access to subscription materials. If you run into any trouble accessing articles, please email

NCAR Archives

The NCAR Archives is closed to in-person visits.

Many materials from the NCAR Archives are available virtually in the digital archival and photograph collections. Online exhibits are also available.
