The Library has three locations in Boulder:

  • Mesa Lab, Second Floor
  • FL2, Third Floor
  • CG1, Second Floor

Public Hours

The Mesa Lab library is open to the public 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and special events. While everyone can review materials onsite, only staff may check items out.

Staff Access

NSF NCAR, UCAR, and UCP staff have 24/7 badge access to all three locations. Each has a unique set of print journals, books, and reports as well as a self-checkout machine. Find the location and availability of print materials. 

If you need something that’s not in our collection, submit an Interlibrary Loan request. 

Work with a Librarian

Librarians rotate between the FL2 and Mesa Lab locations. Staff can email library@ucar.edu with questions or to make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
