Data Management and Publishing Your Work
Utilize Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) for other researchers to more easily discover and cite your scientific output, as well as enable long-term preservation and access of NSF NCAR and UCAR resources. PIDs are widely seen as foundational to open science because they uniquely identify various entities in the research ecosystem. PIDs can be assigned to people, organizations, journal articles, instruments, documents, facilities, software, data, projects, and physical or biological samples.
