2023 NCAR Library Survey

High Points

  • The Library maintains an extraordinarily high overall satisfaction rate; negative responses averaged only 1.04%. 
  • Access to e-journals is rated as “critical” or “significant” to 81% of respondents. 
  • The Archives enjoys a remarkable level of trust from the organization, with 76% indicating that they trust us to preserve the NCAR historical record. 
  • Spaces: reception of the renovated ML library is universally celebrated; looking forward, survey responses provided a lot of encouragement to improve the FL library.
  • There is enthusiasm for enhancing library search tools, implementing Digital Asset Management (DAM), and for expanding data management support.
